It’s a low profile mat to clear exterior doors that open out (like in Florida) or any door that opens towards the inside. This mat could be used inside in a mudroom or a garage entry. It’s not attractive enough to be placed as your indoor front doormat, but it would look great outdoors. The backing is non slip and the edges will hold snow or rain water to prevent leaking on our floors. The herringbone diamond design is visually appeasing as well as functional. This size is a little bit small but works perfect for a single entry door. I’m using this outside our garage door entrance. We use this door quite frequently to take the dog and trash out so I needed something that is going to withstand a high traffic area and capture as much dirt as possible. The best part is the $9.99 price tag, it’s an excellent value for this durable polypropylene non slip mat. The mat arrives tightly rolled in a box. It takes a day to flatten out completely.

My old mat slid around constantly, and I was always fixing it every other day. This one doesn’t budge.Cleaning it is easy, too. I just sweep it off, and about once a year, I rinse it with the hose. You can use it indoors as well; it works in the kitchen or anywhere you need a tough mat.Between the pets and the nonstop in and out of guests, this mat gets used constantly. It still looks good, lies flat, and hasn’t curled up anywhere.It may only be a doormat, but it’s built like it’s training for the Doormat Olympics. It arrived rolled up so we had to leave it on the ground for a few days before it was flush. We place it in our garage at the bottom of the stairs on the cement that leads into the kitchen. We love that we can wipe our feet on it and any debris will stay on the mat. It does not glide on the floor like other mats we have used, it stays in place. I keep a garage vacuum to clean our rugs and have used the vacuum on this, and it cleaned up the debris that was on it well. For the price point, you really can’t go wrong! It looks great and it’s perfect for indoor or outdoor use.
